Definition
Business density in Decised city profiles is registered businesses per 1,000 residents, using Nomis counts and ONS mid-year population for the same local authority district.
What it does not mean
Higher density does not mean ‘better’ for your idea. It does not measure empty units, churn at your street, or unmet demand. It is a scale indicator for cross-checking assumptions.
